Cal. 218 BEE. S# 481088. Bbl. 24" rd circle "P" proofed bbl w/ bbl fastened sling swivel stud, brass beaded dovetailed blade front sight on a stippled ramp & sporting elevator adjustable rear sight. The bolt is fitted with a Lyman 98A rear sight. Stocked with added factory deluxe checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm. Capped with a blued screw fastened forearm cap, checkered steel shotgun buttplate and hard rubber "Winchester Repeating Arms" pistol grip cap. A good copy that started its life as a standard 65 and was upgraded to a deluxe variation. CONDITION: replacement bbl retains 95% of its factory blue finish with crisp markings. Receiver finish has worn to an approx 60% coverage of its original finish. Factory checkered stock set has some abrasions, scratches and handling marks. Buttplate has scattered wear and handling marks with spots of oxidation in the checkering. Missing a small lower tang screw. Bright bore with sharp rifling. (25-1265/ZAL). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
