^Lot 3244 RARE WINCHESTER 65 DELUXE LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

Cal. 218 Bee. S# 1005101. Bbl. 24" with hooded stippled ramp front sight, factory plugged rear sight dovetail, and added scope blocks. Fitted with a Lyman 98A bolt peep sight. Stocked with factory deluxe checkered wood that is capped with a screw fastened forearm cap, steel checkered factory shotgun buttplate, and "Winchester Repeating Arms" hard rubber pistol grip cap. A vintage leather rifle sling is attached with QD sling swivels in factory sling studs. CONDITION: bbl is very fine with over 95% of its original blue and is unfortunately after market tapped for the scope mounts that are attached and exhibits some minor handling marks. Very good receiver with 90% original finish and some small freckled spots of oxidation and some carry wear on the lever. Very nice stock set with sharp factory checkering and some mild handling marks. Bright bore with sharp rifling does have a couple of spots of pitting. (25-1266/ZAL). CURIO. $1,500-2,250.
