ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF. S#. 580. Bbl. 22" tapered round of take down style. Half length mag. Ramp mounted blade front with Marbles elevator adj. rear sight. Beautifully upgraded rifle with generous coverage of after market hand engraving. Receiver sides have panels of vine type foliate scroll with punch dot back grounds and shaded borders featuribng heart shaped decorations. The right side circular scene features a fox. Left side scene depicts a charging wild bore. Matching engraving extends to upper & lower action areas, breech end of bbl., lever and the grooved steel buttplate. Forend & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy black walnut have style H checkering and Winchester sling eyes. Right inside of upper tang is stamped "11oo" Top tang channel stock has a pencil marking"QB M53". Mfg. 1924, 1st year of production. CONDITION: metal retains over 95% reblued finish. Refinished wood shows marks & mildew spots with an undersize fit at the action. Sound mechanics. The bore is generally bright with strong rifling. (25-1297/DS). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
