Cal. 30-03. S# 46269. Mfg. 1904. Bbl. 24" with dovetailed sporting front sight. Semi buckhorn style sporting rear sight. Matted receiver at the breech. Climbing Lyman receiver sight. Plain walnut stock set with ebony tipped schnabel forearm and smooth steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: overall fair condition with bbl retaining 50-60% original bluing, freckled old oxidation, and mild muzzle wear. Receiver retains approx. 60% original bluing with high edge wear, scattered handling marks, and freckled old spotty oxidation. Stock set has mild mildew spotting, scattered handling marks and scratches with some being more moderate. Bright bore with sharp rifling. (25-1294/ZAL). CURIO. $800-1,200.
