ADMINISTRATOR OF THE PALOMETA QUEBRACHO COMPANY BY THE EMPLOYEES IN APRIL OF 1907. Cal. 30 Army (30-40 Krag). S# 53449. Mfg. 1906. Bbl 28" with pinned blade front sight. Military wind gauge rear sight. Musket stock set with silver presentation plaque on the right side butt reading. " Los Empleados / De / La Palometa Quebracho Company / A Su Asministrador / Senor Carlos Cawallin / Abril de 1907". This translates to "The employees of the Palometa Quebracho Company to their administrator, Senor Carlos Cawallin, April 1907." Factory butt and band sling swivels. CONDITION: overall fine with lightly thinning bbl finish that retains approx 95% coverage most of the thinning being towards the muzzle and scattered light handling marks. Receiver finish has thinned with approx 30% remaining with the balance turning to a brown patina with light old oxidation freckling and scatt. Stock set is very good with some scattered light handling marks and a few dings. Silver plaque has a nice aged patina. Bore is lightly frosted with some pitting and sharp rifling. (25-1282/ZAL).
