Lot 3206 NICE 1940S PRODUCTION WINCHESTER MODEL 94 LEVER

ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 30 WCF. S# 1300030. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester circa. 1943-1948 (production numbers for those years unavailable). Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard markings denoting Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood forearm and straight grip stock with flat grooved steel buttplate. Ramped, hooded, and aluminum beaded blade front sight with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Underside of stock and mag. tube have been fitted with sling swivels. Unmarked brown leather sling. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, showing some spots of light to mild wear, scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation and oxidative flaking (primarily on the mag. tube). Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks, scratches, and impressions, but otherwise remains sound.
