CARBINE. Cal. 25-35 WCF. S#. 971510. Bbl. 20" with replacement brass pinned blade front, carbine leaf rear sight & tang sight. Full length mag. The action has a saddle ring on the left side. Walnut forend & stock with steel carbine buttplate. 1925 mfg. CONDITION: the metal finish has largely faded to gray showing scattered light pitting. Left side of the mag. tube has a rusty appearance. The wood shows wear with scratches, dents and open grain checking. The forend tip shows cracks & chips. Sound action. Dark bore retains intact rifling. (25-5298/DS). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
