CARBINE. Cal. 38-55. S#. 68339. Bbl. 20" carbine style. Pinned German silver pinned blade front with carbine leaf rear sight. Full length mag. Action has saddle ring on left side. Walnut forend & straight grip stock with steel carbine buttplate. Mfg. 1896. CONDITION: metal shows 40% worn blue fading to brown. Mag tube is dented 1" forward the forend. Stocks have show wear with scratches, marks, some heavy dents & small chips. Sound action. Lightly pitted bore has worn rifling. (01-26695/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
