CARBINE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). S# 794113. Bbl. 20". Sheard No. 894L brass bead replacement front sight with a Marbles folding leaf express style replacement rear sight. Full length mag. Action has saddle ring on left side. Blue finish. Band fastened forearm and straight grip gumwood stock with steel carbine buttplate. Peak of buttplate is stamped "72". Mfg. in 1916. CONDITION: 80% lightly worn blue showing edge wear with scattered spots of flaking and scratches. Lightly sanded and refinished wood shows some remaining scratches and marks. Sound action. Very good bright bore. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1863/DS). CURIO. $1,500-2,000.
