CARBINE IN DESIRABLE 25-35 WCF. Cal. 25-35 WCF. S# 969223. Bbl. 20" round with carbine post front sight and Carbine leaf rear. The 25-35 chambering remains one of the most desirable calibers amongst Winchester 1894 collectors today. "ARMAX" survey indicates that from S# 1-353,999, only 10.4% of all model 1894 Winchesters were mfg in 25-35. Full length mag. Blue finish. Left side of action has a saddle ring. Band fastened forearm and straight grip gumwood stock with steel carbine buttplate. Mfg. in 1925. CONDITION: bbl. and mag. tube retain 80% lightly worn blue showing scratches and marks with wear spots. Action has 40% blue showing spotted flaking. Wood has lightly worn original finish showing scratches marks and dents. Mechanically fine. Bore bore with strong rifling. (25-1743/BH). CURIO. $2,500-3,500.
