DELUXE TAKEDOWN LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF. S# 62294. Bbl. 26" octagon to rnd. takedown style. globe front sight, 34-B Express rear sight and combination tang sight. 1/2 length takedown mag. Blue finish with case colored hammer and lever. Forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of XX fancy black walnut, with hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Stock and forearm have factory style H hand checkering. Left inside of lower tang is marked with assembly # "7431", followed by "RB", and "OH". Top tang channel of stock has matching markings. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms record stating "Caliber: 30/ Barrel Type: 1/2 Octagon/ Trigger: Plain/ Checkered stock, Pistol grip/ Sights: Lyman front and rear/ 1/2 Magazine/ Shotgun butt, Rubber buttplate/ Takedown/ Oil Finish/ Received in warehouse on August 28, 1899/ Shipped from warehouse on August 28, 1899, Order number 34209". CONDITION: over 80% original blue, showing edge wear, with scattered scratches, marks, and small spots of very light pitting. Hammer and lever retain some visible case colors on their sides. Original wood has moderately worn finish and checkering, showing numerous scratches, marks, and small dents. Mechanically fine. Bright bore, retains strong rifling. (25-3576/DS). CURIO. $6,000-8,000.
