Bright finished action has custom hand engraving similar to factory style 9. Foliate scroll engraving with fancy borders features a game scene with a mule deer buck on the left side. Custom replacement forend and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy Claro Walnut. Features include crescent steel buttplate and style H checkering. Left inside of lower tang is marked with assembly no. "7596" and wood grade marking "X". Mfg. 1909. CONDITION: reblued bbl. shows spotted surface corrosion and light pitting. Replacement mag. has good blue. Bright finished action shows spots of light pitting. Replacement wood has good finish. Sound action. Dark lightly pitted bore. (25-1302/DS). CURIO. $2,000-4,000.
