LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). S# 970715. Bbl. 24" octagon. Combination folding front sight, flat top sporting rear sight, with Marble combination tang sight. Button mag. Blue finish. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1926. CONDITION: bbl. retains over 95% bright original blue, showing very faint edge wear. Action and forearm cap have over 60% original blue, with carry wear, with areas of flaking and scattered spots of very light pitting. Good original wood finish shows small scratches and marks.
