Cal. 38-56 WCF. S# 71197. Bbl. 26" octagon w/ sporting sights. Full length mag. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1892. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to a mottled gray brown w/ spotted light pitting & corrosion. Edges of barrel show numerous dents. Wood has a worn appearance w/ numerous dents & marks. Stock left of the top tang has a large area of epoxy repair. Sound action. Dark bore retains intact rifling showing scattered light pitting. (01-28711/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
