Cal. 45-70. S# 59046. Bbl 23" round replacement. Bbl is marked "U.S." forward of action and has no other manufacture or caliber markings. Lyman ramp mounted bead front sight and folding leaf rear sight. 7/8 length tubular mag. Replacement semi beavertail forearm and straight grip stock of fancy black walnut with point pattern hand checkering. LOP: 13 3/8" over a Fajen plastic buttplate. Leather sling on QD swivels. Mfg. 1891. CONDITION: bbl and action have brightly polished reblued finish showing some pitting. Custom stocks show light finish wear with scattered scratches and marks. Very good bright bore.
