Cal. 45-90 WCF. S# 128186. Bbl. 26" octagon to rnd. Marbles No. 6 front sight with broken bead, folding leaf rear sight, with combination tang sight. Half length takedown mag. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock with hard rubber shotgun buttplate has added non-factory point pattern checkering. Buttplate is fitted with a brass trapdoor, stock is slotted to hold large optional eye piece for the tang sight. Mfg. in 1902. CONDITION: bbl. has 40% dull fading blue. The action has largely faded to gray. Sanded and refinished stocks have a worn appearance showing scratches and marks. Buttplate is chipped along the right side and cracked along the left. Sound mechanics. Very good bore. (25-5316/DS). CURIO. $1,500-2,250.
