Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). S# 46173. Bbl 28" No. 1 weight tapered octagon. Combination front sight, flat top sporting rear sight with Lyman combination tang sight having a large disk. Blue finish with case colored action. Ebony tipped schnable forearm, straight grip walnut stock with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1891. CONDITION: 60% dull original bbl blue showing edge wear with spotted corrosion and handling marks. Action retains 40% lightly visible case colors showing scattered dark corrosion. Wood has dull worn finish showing numerous scratches, marks and dents. Sound action. Bore has slightly darkened appearance with lightly worn rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick.
