^Lot 3108 RARE SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER 1885 EXTRA LONG

LOW WALL SINGLE SHOT RIFLE IN 32 IDEAL. Cal. 32 Ideal. S# 101108. Mfg. 1905. Bbl. 36" No. 1 octagonal with interchangeable disc front globe sight. Buckhorn elevator rear sight. Uncheckered straight grip walnut stock set with crescent steel buttplate and ebony tipped forearm. Set trigger. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Letter confirming configuration and indicating that it shipped in 1906. CONDITION: metal finish of the bbl and receiver have a balanced brown patina with crisp markings and some small spotty oxidation patches present. Stock set was lightly sanded with added finish showing a handling marks and a couple of gouges. There is a small chip on the left side of the butt at the buttplate. Very nice bright bore with distinct rifling. A neat 85 in a very accurate caliber. (25-1267/ZAL). CURIO. $1,500-2,250.
