RIFLE. Cal. 22 short. S#. 242900B. Bbl. 24" octagon. Sporting sights & combination tang sight the rear sight elevator is a replacement. Full length tubular mag. Walnut forend & straight grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1888. CONDITION: Bbl. & mag. have 40% blue fading to brown showing handling marks & spots of corrosion. The action has largely faded to brown showing corrosion with a series of shallow dents on the left side. Stocks have worn finish showing numerous dents, marks and spots of mildew. Sound action. Front tang sight screw is not present. Dark pitted bore. (01-26802/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,000.
