RIFLE. Cal. 22short. S#. 296950. Bbl. 24" round. Sporting sights. full length tubular mag. Walnut forend & straight grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1889. CONDITION: bbl. & mag tube have over 70% lightly faded blue showing wear spots & marks. The action has largely faded to brown showing marks & spotted corrosion. The stocks show wear and age darkening with numerous scratches marks & small chips. Sound action. the dust cover may be a replacement. Dark pitted bore. (01-26819/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,000.
