Cal. 22 Short. S# 250825B. Bbl. 24" rnd. Combination front sight with sporting rear sight. Full length tubular mag. Blue finish with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1888. CONDITION: rifle retains over 70% dull lightly faded blue showing scratches, marks, and spotted corrosion. Breech end of bbl. has wrench marks. Hammer and lever show traces of case colors. Forearm has original finish showing scratches and marks. Stock has an age darkened appearance with numerous scratches, marks, and small dents, having a 1 1/2" chip left of the lower tang. Sound action. Dark pitted bore has little remaining rifling.
