Cal. 38 WCF. S# 215993B. Bbl 24" octagon. Sporting front sight, flat top sporting rear sight with combination tang sight. Full length mag. Blue finish with added nickel finished mag tube, side plates, carrier and lever. Case colored hammer. Forearm and straight grip stock with steel shotgun buttplate have added very coarse checkering. Mfg. 1886. CONDITION: bbl and receiver have over 70% lightly faded blue showing carry and edge wear with small handling marks. Mag tube, side plates, carrier and lever have 90% nickel finish with spots of flaking. Hammer shows some lightly visible case colors. Stocks have moderately worn finish showing handling marks. Sound action. Bore is generally bright with sound rifling. (01-28181/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,800.
