Cal. 44 WCF. S# 111768A. Bbl. 24" octagon with correct early short sight & elevator. Full length mag. Blue finish. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1883. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to an even brown patina, showing spots of freckling and light handling marks. Wood has original age darkened worn appearance, with numerous small to moderate scratches, marks, and small dents commensurate with use. Mechanically fine.
