Cal. 38 WCF. S# 269207B. Bbl. 24" rnd., with original sporting sights. Full length mag. Blue finish, with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. Mfg. in 1888. CONDITION: 60% original blue showing carry and edge wear, with numerous light scratches and spotted freckling. Hammer and lever have small amounts of remaining case colors. Original wood finish shows wear with numerous light to moderate scratches & marks. Mechanically fine. Frosted bore retains strong rifling with pitting in grooves. (01-27066/DS). ANTIQUE. $3,500-4,500.
