COLORED DELUXE LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 WCF. S# 97081. Bbl. 24" in desirable & seldom seen octagon to round configuration with full length mag. Combination front sight, sporting rear sight w/ a 62-B peep tang sight. Blue finish w/ case colored action. Forearm & pistol grip stock of nicely grained walnut. Features include steel shotgun buttplate, ebony grip insert & style H factory checkering. 1882 manufacture. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain 60% original blue showing edge wear & small spots of corrosion. Action retains nicely visible case colors on part of the left side w/ other areas having faded to gray. Stock & forearm have a added varnish over original finish and show scattered light to moderate scratches & marks. Mechanically fine. Bore retains largely intact rifling with some scattered pitting.
