Silver finished action, forend cap and brass trapdoor crescent buttplate. Forend & straight grip stock of straight grain black walnut appear to exceptionally well fitted replacements. Top tang channel is stamped with the last 3 digits of the SN. Left inside of the lower tang is stamped "S" followed by assembly no. "1965". mfg. 1875. CONDTION: fine, bbl. & mag retains over 75% blue fading to an even brown. The action & fittings have over 75% original silver finish exhibiting a very pleasing untouched dark tarnish.
