^Lot 2637 BATTLE OF WATERLOO SCOT'S GREYS PRINT.

Painting depicts Scottish Sgt. Charles Ewart of the Scot's Greys cavalry capturing the regimental eagle of the French 45th Regiment of the Line. Top of painting has inscription that reads "PRESENETED WITH 'OLD ENGLAND'S ANNUAL' 1898". Print measures 27" in length & 20" in height. It is in a frame that measures 37" in length & 32 1/2" in height. CONDITION: print shows scattered staining & flaking on inside & it is coming loose from frame. Frame shows scattered age related wear with remnants of paper on back & some cracks around edges. Cardboard backing shows overall heavy wear & some glue staining. (02-25831/MJC). NON-GUN. $600-900.
