REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spl. S# D207321. Bbl. 4". Ramped serrated blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Right rear of the frame has Farsi script which is believed to be a pre-revolution Iranian police marking. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered walnut grips with matching numbered right panel & silver S&W medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory box that is numbered to a different revolver & 1977 dated factory letter. The factory letter states the revolver was shipped in 1970 & was destined for export but shipped to an S&W distributor instead. CONDITION: grips show a few dings, handling marks & some black staining. Trigger & hammer retain strong amounts of their case colors with notable fading to gray & operational wear. Balance of metal retains 85% original blue with scattered oxidation, flaking to brown most notable on top strap & some edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
