EDITION SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 22 LR. S# 2594776. Bbl. 19 1/2". Nylon 66 U.S. Bicentennial edition semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Remington in 1976. Top of the bbl. is marked with the Remington trademark logo above "22 L.R. ONLY", with an "0I" (July, 1976) date code and "86" marked on the left. Left side of the receiver exhibits a bronze highlighted patriotic eagle between light scroll engraving above "1776" and "1976". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. 1-piece mottled brown synthetic pistol grip stock with checkered panels on the forearm and pistol grip. Black synthetic grip cap is marked "REMINGTON/ NYLON/ 66", with patent information marked on the butt. Grooved black synthetic charging handle. Blade front sight (tip painted white) with adj. square notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory red white and blue cardboard box containing a commemorative calendar, manual, and a boxed Tasco 601E Battler 4x15mm scope. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish, save for a few light superficial handling marks. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows some superficial handling marks, but otherwise remains sound.
