GALLERY SPECIAL SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLES WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOXES. BOTH) Cal. 22 Short. S# 2574845 & 2574844. Bbls. 19 1/2". 2 of only approx. 16,474 Nylon 66 Gallery Special rifles chambered in .22 Short mfg. by Remington. Top of the bbls. are marked with the Remington trademark logo above the cal. designation, with a "CI 86" date code marked on the left. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. 1-piece mottled brown synthetic pistol grip stocks feature checkered panels at the forearm and wrist, as well as black synthetic forearm caps, trigger guards, grip caps, and grooved buttplates. Grip caps and buttplates exhibit standard factory markings. Underside of forearms are fitted with a stainless steel split key ring. Grooved black synthetic charging handles. Fixed steel blade front sights with adj. square notch rear sights. Grooved receivers feature blued steel shell deflectors. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory boxes containing factory manualf and hang tags. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish overall. Rifle (S#: 2574845) shows some light surface oxidation and pitting on the top of the receiver (right side along receiver groove), as well as on the sides of the rear sight assembly. Mirror bores, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stocks are near excellent, showing few light superficial handling marks. Boxes shows general overall wear with some creasing on the lids and some tearing.
