SHOTGUN. Cal. 410x50mm (2" chamber). S# 3681. Bbls. 26 1/8" with full and full chokes. Brass front bead. Water table of barrels have standard Belgian ELG proof marks. Barrels are marked with importers' name and New York address. Case colored boxlock action with double under lug and cross bolt locking having side clips. Double triggers and ejectors. Action has simple floral engraving surrounded by borderline and zigzag borders. Splinter forearm and straight grip stock have point pattern hand checkering and hard rubber buttplate. LOP: 14 1/8". DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 5/16". Neutral cast. WEIGHT: 4 lbs, 10.4 oz. Von Lengerke & Detmold was absorbed by Abercrombie & Fitch during the early 1930s. CONDITION: barrels retain 80% lightly faded blue showing carry and edge wear with scattered handling marks and spots of light corrosion. Action retains 40% fading case colors with spotted light corrosion. Trigger guard has largely faded to gray. Stocks have original finish showing moderately worn checkering with scattered scratches and marks. The buttplate is chipped at the toe. Action is tight and on face with top lever sitting at center.
