TROOPER MK III .22 LR DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER WITH FACTORY BOX. Cal. 22 LR. S# Y4325. Bbl. 4". Trooper Mk III chambered in .22 LR mfg. by Colt during the late 1970s to the early 1980s. The left side of the bbl. is marked "TROOPER MK III/ (STAR) .22 LONG RIFLE (STAR)", with Colt's single line address marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo, as well as Colt's "VP" proof. Metal components exhibit an electro-less nickel finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt gold medallion checkered wood grips. Ramped blade front sight, with adj. square notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSSORIES: Colt Custom Shop factory box, matching via a handwritten S# on the end label. CONDITION: near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory electro-less nickel finish overall, with a few spots of discoloration present on the left side of the trigger. Cyl. bears an extremely faint dragline. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent overall. Box shows moderate wear, with scattered tears present overall. An exceptionally attractive example of a electro-less nickel finished 4" Colt Trooper Mk III revolver, chambered in .22 LR. (25-1239/MLW). MODERN. $800-1,200.
