SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. S# MT3280. Bbl. 6 5/8". Woodsman Match Target semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1939. Left side of the bbl. is marked "MATCH/ (BULLSEYE)/ TARGET", with Colt's mfg. and patent information marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked "THE WOODSMAN", with "COLT", the cal. designation, as well as the Rampant Colt logo marked on the left side of the slide. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the top strap of the frame, slide, and bbl. exhibiting a matte blue finish. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood wrap around "Elephant Ear" grip. Pinned blade front sight with adj. square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 dual-tone 10-rd. mag. marked "COLT WOODSMAN/ CAL .22 L.R./ MATCH TARGET MOD." on the floorplate. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, showing some spots of light to mild edge wear, some superficial scratches and handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grip shows some mild wear and smoothing, as well as some scattered superficial handling marks, but otherwise remains sound.
