DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER WITH KING SIGHTS. Cal. 357 Mag. S# 325950. Bbl. 7 1/2". Officer's Model heavy bbl. double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1910 (serialized in sequence with the Army Special Model). Left side of the custom replacement bbl. is engraved "OFFICERS MODEL/ HEAVY BARREL" between 2 large Maltese crosses. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the sides of the bbl., which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece custom oversized checkered wood thumbrest grips, with the left panel exhibiting an apparent diamond bone inlay at the screw escutcheon. King red synthetic beaded blade front sight with integral reflector and King adj. square notch rear sight. Grip straps and front face of trigger feature custom checkering. Matching S#s are present on the frame and cyl. crane. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original blue finish, showing some light to mild edge wear, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some scattered superficial handling marks, with a chip present on the rear edge of the butt of both panels. Right panel exhibits a large chip on the underside at the trigger guard, with a crack present along the edge of the back strap. Left panel exhibits a small crack at the rear grip strap area.
