REVOLVER IN TARGET CONFIGURATION WITH ROPER GRIPS. Cal. 38 Spl. S# 750210. Bbl. 6". Officer's Model Heavy Barrel double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1950. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations above "HEAVY BARREL" between 2 Maltese crosses, with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the sides of the hammer, which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood Roper grips. Butt of left panel is stamped "M", with "B" stamped on the butt of the right panel. Unmarked aftermarket adj. patridge blade front sight with aftermarket adj. square notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original blue finish, showing some light to mild edge wear, with scattered superficial scratches and handling marks overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting some very light pitting with a small concentrated spot of mild pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics in SA and DA modes. Grips show scattered superficial handling marks and minor impressions, but are otherwise sound. (25-5095/MLW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
