SHOTGUN BARRELS, SCOPE & CASE. Cal. 20 Ga./20 Ga. - 20 Ga./7x57R. S# 43235. The 28-1/4" 20 Ga. O/U barrels are fitted with full length matted rib. The 25-5/8" rifle/shotgun barrels are fitted with matching rib holding one standing leaf rear and silver bead front sights and claw scope bases. Maker's name and address is engraved in milled out portion of rib on both barrels. Shotgun barrels are stamped with October 1936 German nitro proofs for 20 gauge. Coin finished scallop back O/U single Kirsten action features non-automatic tang safety and selective "Jurjevic" single trigger. Action is engraved with sprays of scroll within scroll and line borders. Trigger guard is steel. Lightly figured and veined European walnut horn capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8" over black leather covered pad and features shadow line right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering and sling loop on toeline matching ones found on both barrel sets. Matching three piece ejector forend with horn tip has Deeley release and serves both barrel sets. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameters: O .639 U 637. Restriction: O.004 (IC). U .004 (IC). Rifle is housed in brown vinyl case lined in blue cloth containing a test target and Lothar Walther box containing 2-20 gauge snap caps and 1 for 7x57R. CONDITION: good as partially restored. Both barrel sets retaining most of a re-black over considerable minor frosting and pitting. Action is cleaned to coin finish and shows staining from rust mostly on right side. Stocks nicely refinished in oil have need of more oil added. Checkering is very nicely re-cut. All shotgun bores are bright and shiny without noted problems. Rifle bore is also fine but a bit dark. Action is tight. Trigger and ejectors appear to work well. Case is good. Scope is fine on exterior; optically clear. Case is good. (25-5050/MGM). CURIO. $2,500-3,500.
