The 25-1/2" demi-bloc barrels marked with maker's name, address and retailer on extractor housings is fitted with full length solid matted rib holding flip-over rear and silver bead front sights. Bottoms of barrels are stamped with March 1958 East German proofs and with caliber info. Case hardened ogee back, blitz, double Kirsten O/U action features non-automatic safety, pin cocking indicators and double triggers (front set). Action is engraved with sprays of scroll within line and wiggle borders. Trigger plate is stamped with maker's name and address. Steel trigger guard is engraved with scroll on bow. Lightly streaked European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8" over plastic checkered buttplate. Stock features small shadow line right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering and sling loop matching one found on bottom barrel. Matching three piece non-ejector forend has Deeley release. A brown leather sling is installed. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: O .673. Restriction: O 035 (full). Wall thickness: O .029. STOCK: DAH: 2-1/2+. DAC: 1-1/2". CAST: about 1/2" off. LOP: 14-3/8". WEIGHT: 7 lb. 3 oz. CONDITION: exceptionally fine very close to "as new" with only some varnish loss and sharp edge wear on metal. There are only a few minor marks in original stock finish.
