BOCK WITH CASE AND WINTER 2015 DOUBLE GUN JOURNAL. Cal. 16 Ga. 2-9/16" (rifled choke)/8x58R (360 base)/30-30 Win. S# 10377. The 26-3/4" barrel set with full length matted rib is fitted with two folding leaf rear and small bead front sights and has dolls head extension. Tops of barrels are engraved "Otto Bock-Berlin" and "Kgl. Hoflieferant". Barrel flats are stamped with Imperial German nitro proofs for 16 Ga. and 7.8mm. Bottom barrel is newly stamped "30.30 W". Coin finished blitz action with double arched back features tang safety for front trigger, side safety for rear trigger, bottom rifle selector is on right front side of trigger guard and is fired by front trigger. Action is engraved with simple scroll surrounding well detailed game scenes on sides with pointer in field with fence in background on left and a stag looking into an open meadow on right. Trigger guard is horn and has finger spur on bow. Tang extends to sunburst horn grip cap. Nicely fiddle figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14" over ribbed horn buttplate and features standard right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering and sling loop on toeline. Matching splinter forend has Deeley release. MEASUREMENTS: BBL: Bore Diameter: L .680. Restriction: L .033 (rifled choke). Wall thickness: L .019. STOCK: DAH: 2-13/16". DAC: 1-5/16". Case contains snap caps for each caliber. Also included is the Winter 2015 issue of Double Gun Journal. CONDITION: good as mostly refinished. Barrels retaining nearly all re-black. Action cleaned to silver gray. Finely detailed engraving remains good. Stocks retain nearly all glossy refinish over many marks and dings. Checkering appears to be correctly re-run. Bores are very good; shiny, slightly dark in grooves. Action is fairly loose with barrels off face. Mechanics appear to work once you sort out what does what.
