Cal. 360 No.5 Rook. S# 105 (bottom of barrel). Bbl. 26 1/2" octagon measuring 3/4" across flats at the muzzle. Dovetail mounted bead front sight with semi-buckhorn "U" notch rear sight. Miniature sized action is marked "SNIDER" on the breech block. Top tang, trigger guard and island lock have scroll and borderline engraving. Hammer appears to be a replacement. Horn tipped straight comb sporting stock of fancy walnut with point pattern wrap around hand checkering. Toeline has a German silver nameplate. LOP: 14" over a steel buttplate. WEIGHT: 5 lbs, 13.6 oz. CONDITION: metal has faded to brown showing scattered corrosion and light pitting. Stock has a dark worn appearance showing evidence of scraping with dents and marks. Checkering shows moderate wear with evidence of attempted re-cutting. Functioning lock and action. Bore shows lightly worn rifling with some very light pitting.
