Lot 2211 WINCHESTER MODEL 37 SINGLE SHOT SHOTGUN.
Cal. 410, 3". NSN. Bbl. 26". Model 37 single shot shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1936-1963. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings, with "MADE IN U.S.A." appearing to have been poorly stamped below the Winchester trademark logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock and forend appear to have been sanded and revarnished. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few small spots of light wear and thinning, as well as scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a crack present on the right side of the forend, which is mostly only visible from the top.
