^Lot 2209 WINCHESTER MODEL 36 SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION

SHOTGUN. Cal. 9mm RF. NSN. Bbl. 17 1/2". Model 36 single shot bolt action shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1921-1936. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting Winchester's mfg. and patent information, followed by the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt assembly (minus the cocking piece), which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece plain wood straight grip stock, with Winchester checkered black synthetic buttplate. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light to mild wear and thinning overall. Trigger guard exhibits areas of wear and thinning that shows through to brown patina. Bore exhibits moderate dark oxidation throughout. Stock shows some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1883/MLW). CURIO. $500-800.
