^Lot 2200 RARE 2 1/2 INCH CHAMBER WINCHESTER MODEL 42 SKEET

PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 410.-2 1/2". S# 39149. Bbl. 26" with solid rib and steel bead. Left side of barrel is marked "410 2 1/2" chamber" followed by Skeet choke marking. Blue finish. Original beavertail forearm with standard skeet pattern and checkering. Replacement stock of fancy walnut with skeet style hand checkering. LOP: 14 3/16" over a Noshoc solid red pad. Mfg. 1940. CONDITION: 80% lightly faded blue showing carry and edge wear. Forearm has lightly worn original finish missing a large chip at the rear of the right side. Replacement stock shows crazing finish with series of small dents on the left side. Sound action. Very good bright bore. PROVENANCE: Estate of Lloyd Robinson. (25-6650/DS). CURIO. $3,000-4,000.
