^Lot 2199 RARE 2 1/2 INCH CHAMBER WINCHESTER MODEL 42 SKEET

GRADE PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. 2 1/2". S# 84691. Bbl. 28" with solid rib and steel bead. Left side of the barrel is marked "410-2 1/2' chamber" followed by "SKEET" choke marking. Beavertail forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock with standard skeet grade checkering and original buttplate. Mfg. 1949. CONDITION: 70% blue showing carry and handling wear with spots of very light pitting. Wood has lightly worn finish and checkering showing dents and marks. Forearm has a glued chip on rear of left side. Sound mechanics. Good bright bore. PROVENANCE: Estate of Lloyd Robinson. (25-6648/DS). CURIO. $4,500-6,500.
