CASE. Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4". S# PU96926. The 33-3/4" monobloc barrel with fixed full choke has high ventilated top rib in place of top barrel. Monobloc is marked with Perazzi info and importer on ejector housings. Bottom of monobloc is stamped with S# "111526" along with 1998 Italian nitro proofs. All black MX8 O/U action with removable trigger group is unengraved except for decoration around hinge pin and top lever pivot. Left side of action is marked "Perazzi MX8 Special". Extreme pistol grip buttstock made of finely marbled European walnut measures 14-1/2" over black Perazzi pad and features Monte Carlo comb and point pattern checkering at grip without palm swell. Matching one piece target type forend has Deeley type release. MEASUREMENTS: STOCK: DAH: 2-1/8". Rear of Monte Carlo 1-3/8". DAC: 1-3/8". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/2". WEIGHT: 9 lb. 4 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun is housed in aluminum "Americase" lined in purple velvet with interior of lid embroidered "Bruce Bowen & Company" "Sturgis, S.D. U.S.A.". Case contains: stock removal tool, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches etc, along with other trigger parts (release ?) and two keys. CONDITION: very fine; retaining nearly all blue on barrel and action with some high edge wear beginning on action. Stocks have one or two minor marks in their original finish. Bore is bright and shiny. Action is tight. Mechanically crisp. Exterior of case shows marks; interior with compressions. (25-6623/MGM). CURIO. $4,000-6,000.
