Cal. 222 Rem. S# 2286. Bbl. 26" heavy sporter weight without provision for sights. Mfg. 1972-1974 as modern adaptation of the famed Model 1885 Winchester High Wall rifle utilizing music wire springs. Nicely case colored receiver and finger lever (softer tones). Fitted with Redfield style scope base having vivid plum toned finish. Redfield 4 top screw vintage 1" scope rings holding Bushnell 10X-AO gloss black Banner scope having crosswire reticle. Straight grained, uncheckered walnut pistol gripped stock set with white line spaced grip cap and brown Pachmayr White Line butt pad; 14" LOP. Detachable sling swivel bases on barrel and toe line of buttstock. CONDITION: faded tone to finger lever plus extreme scrutiny may yield a light handling mark, but generally near excellent to include bore and scope set. PROVENANCE: From the Buckstix Collection.
