Cal. 297/230. S# 06739. Bbl. 27 3/4". Blade front sight with added white bead. Ladder rear sight graduated to 500yds. Bbl marked "H.G.MIOLEE & CO PRETORIA". Bbl. shank also has what appears to be two plugged holes. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling studs. Ramrod present. CONDITION: stock shows a 6 3/4" grain crack on right side of butt, scattered dings, handling marks & some light chipping in ramrod channel. Metal is an overall dull gray patina with scattered pitting, oxidation, traces of bluing, handling marks & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
