Cal. 22 LR. S# 39452. Bbl. 29" with BSA Model 2 globe front sight plus Parker-Hale Model 7 target sight (selectable aperture disk) at rear of receiver. Mfg. prior to WW-II with numerous BSA markings and British proofs. Top of barrel forward of BSA marking has electro penciled "9316391" plus "Thad Scott" import mark on bottom of barrel just forward of forend. Forend and barrel have swivel eyes plus brass front sight insert container (empty). CONDITION: fair general appearance with overall patina to include pinprick and peppery oxidation; breech block has slight cleaned pitting; missing cocking indicator blade. Stock set is of lesser condition with numerous handling marks. Small chip on buttstock at heel. Hard rubber buttplate has (deteriorating) added non slip surface. Forend has numerous added holes for unknown accessories plus remnants of amateur added checkering; poor condition of attachment screw. Generally good bore with faint wear and hint of frosting.
