Cal. 8x57. S# H8177. Bbl shortened to 17 3/4". Ramp mounted bead front sight with a Lyman 57 SME receiver sight. Left side of action has Fabrique Nationale, Herstal Belgium markings. Top of left rail is marked with owner's name "Reynald H. Rusch". Front ring has Swiss cross over date marking "Y II. 1930". Low swing safety and low swing bolt knob with single panel hand checkering. Military two-stage trigger has added straight line grooving. Mannlicher length stock of fancy walnut with rollover cheekpiece is done in the style of famous Wisconsin stock maker Leonard Mews. Features include wraparound skip line checkering with leaf carved borders, flared grip cap with inlaid compass and swivel bases. LOP: 13 1/2" over a horn buttplate and 1/8" contrasting wood spacer. WEIGHT: 7lb, 3.6oz. CONDITION: metal retains 98% custom reblued finish. Bolt body and carrier have good custom jeweling. Stock finish shows few very small marks.
