WITH BOLT ACTION SINGLE SHOT 22 LONG RIFLE ADAPTOR. 1) Cal. 8.15x46R. S# 1357. Bbl. 29 1/4". Marked on top over chamber "WILHLEHANNE / KREFELD". Receiver ring is marked on top "ORIGINAL / HAENEL-LORENZ" and encircled Haenel-Lorenz logo. Receiver is marked on left side with "BU" proofs. Serial numbers match on bottom of barrel, receiver and stock marking disc. Receiver bridge is fitted with an aperture rear sight marked on the left "Traffb / At". Sight is click adjustable for windage and elevation. Barrel has tangent open rear sight adjustable for windage graduated to 300 meters. Sight is marked on left side with the Haenel arrow. Sight base is graduated to 2,000 meters and is likely a modified Lange rear sight. Inverted "V" front sight. Bolt with straight handle carries "BU" proof marks on top and has been modified to accept the "8.15x46R" cartridge. The modification includes a new shorter extractor. Rifle has been fitted with double-set triggers. Trigger adjusting screw is not present. The magazine box and follower appear to be unmodified from the German service cartridge. Non-matching walnut stock and handguard. Serial number at belly of stock is partially lined out. Right side of buttstock has brass marking disc inscribed "1929", "NO1357", prominent crisp Mauser banner and Mauser proof. Mauser proof under grip. Short handguard extends from rear sight base to lower band. All milled furniture including flat buttplate and narrow barrel band. Butt swivel bow is not present. Cleaning rod is present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: steel muzzle cover, tan canvas and leather padded carrying case. CONDITION: stock set has worn original finish with numerous dents and handling marks throughout. Notable chipping around forward edge of trigger guard. Forend has deep scratch on left side due to improper band removal. Metal is a mix of blue finishes and parts turning gray. The double set trigger will not always stay set and needs gunsmith attention. Receiver and barrel carry a large amount of their original blue along with the floorplate. Buttplate, trigger guard and lower band appear to be replacements with wear, turning gray and patina. Bore is shiny with lightly worn lands. (25-6497/RW). 2) 22 LONG RIFLE SUB-CALIBER ADAPTOR. Cal. 22LR. S# 6481. Numbers match on bolt and receiver. Bbl. 26 1/4". Barrel is finished in the white. The device, with its turned down bolt handle, is secured in the parent rifle receiver by opposed lugs. Cocking piece is marked "22". Swinging type safety. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brass rod installation wrench and paper shipping tube serving as scabbard. CONDITION: receiver and bolt have worn bluing with handling marks and evidence of fitting. Cocking piece has a hobbyist gunsmith type repair. Barrel finished in the white also shows evidence of fitting and is turning gray. Very good shiny bore. (25-6498/RW).
