ACTION RIFLE.Cal. 8.15x46R. S# 1674. Bbl. 22". No front sight present. Tangent rear sight graduated to 300m. Custom shortened single shot Wehrmann Gewehr rifle. Buttplate appears to be the only serialized part. Left side of receiver has crown "B" & "U" proofs. Blued finish with brightly finished turned down bolt. Shortened Mannlicher style walnut stock with bottom mounted sling hardware. Due to modifications rifle is no longer C&R eligible. CONDITION: stock shows an old refinish with faint outline of grasping grooves, some dings & handling marks. Bolt appears cleaned to bright with some light oxidation. Balance of metal retains 93% blue with some notable wear where front sight once was, scattered light oxidation & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
